Using Cal's Custom Availability Feature

One thing that sets Cal apart from other scheduling software is the way it handles availability. Like most calendar schedulers, Cal.com syncs with external calendars such as Apple Calendar, Google, or Outlook. This is great for avoiding double bookings, but it also has some limitations, as these external calendars often don’t support various hours of operation. Cal’s availability feature allows its users to leverage external calendars' organizational power while working in tandem to play an essential role in streamlining and enhancing your calendar experience.

By accessing Cal’s availability tab, you can create as many different availability schedules as needed. For example, if you work in a supervisory role and split your time between multiple branch locations, you can create availability schedules that reflect that. Furthermore, each availability schedule can have different days of the week and hours of activity; you can customize the name of each schedule so that it’s easy to connect events to the relevant appointments. Check the steps below to see how you can easily set up your own custom availability schedules.
