Using Riverside.fm And Cal.com For Podcasting

How do you start a podcast? What do you need? What if you want to have a video component? What if you've got a great idea for a podcast, and you know people who would be happy to participate in it but are not necessarily located in the same city or state as you are?

How can you go about arranging, booking, and hosting interviews with guests located miles away? Even if you figure out all that, how will you combine the audio and video, edit everything and manage the uncontrollable variables like the sound quality of a microphone located two states away? This is where Riverside and Cal.com can make podcast production easier.

Riverside is a podcasting studio that lives in your web browser. It handles audio and video and can even create a transcript of your recordings. Riverside makes it easy for you to tell stories that matter, share moments that shift perspectives, and communicate and connect with people in an entertaining but, most importantly, authentic way. One of the best things about Riverside is that as long as you have an internet connection, a basic mic, and a computer, you can use it. Riverside's virtual podcasting studio will help ensure that your audio sounds professional and your video can easily be edited and turned into social media-ready clips.

Cal.com is an open-source calendar scheduling platform that eliminates voicemail tag and text message ping pong.
